Artisan Construction was founded by Charles Leonard in 1988, after 4 years of working for other construction companies in the Ithaca area.

Artisan Construction is under new leadership

Artisan Construction, a high quality residential building company in Tompkins County NY, founded by Charles Leonard in the 1980's, is under new management.  Our son Benjamin will be continuing the tradition of top notch craftmanship that his dad has been known for in the Ithaca NY area for over a quarter century. We are very excited that Ben has decided to continue on with the family business. We encourage our past customers to call Ben with any new projects that they may have. Be assured that the same attention to detail, building quality and professionalism that they experienced with Charlie will be continued under Ben's management.  Charlie will continue on part-time with Artisan Construction as mentor and assistant to Ben.
