2009 in Review

2009 may have been a short year, having just gotten underway in April, but it was certainly jampacked. There's nothing quite like being thrown in the deep end to make for a steep learning curve, but that's exactly how Ben got his start in the construction business.  First project? Building a house from scratch, for the one customer you really don't want to disappoint in any way imaginable: your brother and sister in law!

As if a whole house project were not enough, Ben was awarded a very complex handicap ramp and entry stairs project this fall.  Fitting the ramp and stairs to the site while meeting all the stringent requirements of building code AND making the whole project aesthetically pleasing was not an easy task. The results, however, speak for themselves.

Additionally, Ben is now a recognized contractor with Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services, certified to do projects funded by INHS.
